Uphold practices that guarantee the annual evaluations of the superintendent’s job performance are based on multiple data points that will be reviewed by the board and shared with the public.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive focus on school safety issues that include student verbal and physical violence toward teachers, gang activities on high school campuses, protections for teachers working with students in specific learning programs where student behaviors can escalate to violent outbursts.
Terminate the practice of school board members signing a governance handbook that restricts their interactions with teachers, community members, constituents, and students and limits their ability to visit school campuses without management escorts.

Until the Covid-19 pandemic is mitigated, mandate that the most rigorous safety practices and materials are in place, funded and maintained to ensure the district has done everything in its power to keep students, teachers, bus drivers, clerical staff and all other FSUSD staff members as safe as possible while working at brick and mortar sites during the pandemic.
